The band F.L.Y. was born the brainchild of lead vocalist Jade in the fall of 1997. After countless attempts at projects , that seemed to lead nowhere, and artists who could never agree , Jade found himself in search of something new. It occurred to him that with the ability to sing ,play multiple instruments and the gift for songwriting, that this was the ticket to success. If he could write the songs and record the music himself then there was nothing that could stop him. First he came up with the name, from his fascination with vampire novels and movies, “ Forever Lasting Youth.” This later became simply F.L.Y. to keep it simple & sweet.

	After writing and recording demos for about a year , Jade met up with Nikki , a kindred soul of sorts. It seemed that Nicolas and Jade had much in common both musically and mentally. Nikki had the same creativeness and the desire to be successful. The two began work immediately .
Nikki designed the logo and began adding his own creative juices to the mix. What became was , pure “kick your ass” rock & roll magic.They knew this was it. This was a new sound ,with power, fresh & new , heavy, but at the same time melodic and catchy. Their influences of bands like The Cult , Bang Tango and other veterans, mixed with the more modern sounds of today, have created a force to be reckoned . With songs like “ Pain” and “ Pride” (hard & driving) to “ Since You’ve Been Gone" ( a slow but driving ballad ) there is something for the soul of every rock & roll fan . There is a new rock revolution ,and that revolution is F.L.Y. Join it ( if you dare ).
